Living on a 5-acre Mojave Desert oasis with her Spouse, she loves storytelling through music, gardening, cooking, and working with clay, which fuels her imagination and shapes the fantastical settings in her stories.
Her latest book, The Woobees: An Anthology of Whimsical Stories and Poems from the World of Fairy, invites you into a magical realm of fantasy, folklore, and endless wonder.

Any day is a good day to play
Young readers are invited to join a playful adventure where a child’s imagination transforms a rainy day into a delightful experience. When mom is too busy for tea, the child finds joy in the clouds, dirt, and creativity, crafting a mud cake and forming a rock band with empty pans.
As the rain pours, the child learns to embrace the unexpected, culminating in a whimsical tea party that celebrates the simple joys of life. This charming tale encourages children to find fun in every situation and highlights the magic of imagination.
